Individual grants are considered and provided to Full or Associate members after one year of membership and good standing ONLY! MSCPVA supports and encourages VAMC SCI/D sta7 to advance their education in their respective fields and attend seminars related to SCI/D. MSCPVA will provide funding, upon the discretion of the BOD, for attending conferences and workshops as requested to help educate medical professionals and the membership on proper care and treatment for persons with SCI/D.

Grants will be provided only after receipts have been received to substantiate the grant request. If funds are needed before the event individual requests can be submitted to the Executive Director. Grants are only funded and are subject to budget availability. Individuals applying for funding must submit a funding request. Individuals must also submit a breakdown of the course/seminar fees. The recipient is liable to MSCPVA for the amount granted if the individual fails to attend the course/seminar. Grants provided to the individuals or organizations remain at the sole discretion of the MSCPVA Board. Grant applications are reviewed monthly. Grantees will be notified by mail.

The Board of Directors encourages individuals awarded the grant to provide a follow up report with pictures so that it can be shared in our newsletter or website.
