On March 17, 2011, Governor Hickenlooper signed a proclamation declaring April 10-16, 2011 Paralyzed Veterans of America Week. The Mountain States Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America (MSCPVA) commemorated the week with numerous events for the community, members, and those interested in the work of the organization. On April 11, MSCPVA hosted a successful Open House, where members and dignitaries from the veteran community met for festivities. MSCPVA also hosted visitor booths at the VA Hospital in Cheyenne, Wyoming; Denver, Colorado; Helena, Montana; and the Peterson Air Force Base.
